New job update

My titles are so creative.. I just can't stand it.

Come on...gimme a break I've been working hard, it's like 8:00 and I just sat down after washing dishes (by hand), doin laundry, making lunches and unloading a truck full of firewood.I'm a bit wiped right now.

Alrighty then..

So I started my new job at the end of Oct and so far so good. It's a really good company and the people there are super nice and patient with me. I have no clue as to what is going on in the manufacturing world but am learning, I think. Or they are making me think I am.

It's pretty laid back too. One plus is I get to wear jeans everyday. YAY! I think I gained about 10 lbs. since I started cause they are always buying us lunch or dounuts or something.

I'm constantly busy so the days fly by, which is another bonus. My boss is pretty cool too. One month down and only 30 more years or something to retirement.

We just had the annual Christmas party over the weekend, which was a total drunk fest. I took it easy. I've only been there for a month and didn't want to cause a scene or anything. Maybe next year. Although, I heard one of the employees caused a scene after hours and I think may have gotten arrested...he he he. What do you expect after a 6 hour open bar? They did pay for rooms for people to stay over, which is also nice and less liability for the company, of course.
